Oopsie!

Earlier this morning, The Outhouse reported on Bleeding Cool's conjecture that a Batman / Spider-Man team up was in the offing for early summer 2012. Since then, BC's Rich Johnston has been forced to come forward and admit to having been hoodwinked by Diamond and that no such project will in fact be published.

Further to the terms of a gentlemen's agreement made by this correspondant and Outhouse forum poster 'avengingtitan' this article is published in lieu of an admission that Rich was wrong and that, in this instance, the aforementioned poster was correct to doubt the veracity of the report.

The Outhouse has reached out to Johnston for comment on this matter.

To be fair, if you read my original article I was at great pains to say that this was just a rumour and should be treated as such.

It was substantiated by Diamond.

This was in response to Bleeding Cool reposting stories that were running on Diamond's website but weren't fully linked from the home page yet--it was meant to be a burn on Rich Johnston but The Outhouse picked it up and ran with it too after he did.
