There've been mutants capable of controlling the entire world telepathically.. mutants capable of beind reality to their whims.. the Phoenix Five are doing something which, quite frankly, the X-Men could've probably done anyway throughout the years without the Phoenix force backing them. But they didn't.

They SHOULD be focusing on bringing mutants back, like Scott originally wanted, which started this whole fucking mess.. instead, they've become power hungry and want nothing more than to show their dominance over the planet. :smt102

Totally agree with you.

Well only one mutant ever did that, Magneto. Twice he used his powers to blackmail the world: once into dismantling their nuclear arms. The other was to get his own nation (which he got in Genosha). But his actions were deemed EVIL.

Though I can take this one step further. The Phoenix 5 have the power of god. Yet, they decide instead of restarting the mutant gene they're redoing the world in "their" image. Now that's Dr. Doom turf.

It's funny how but a "month" ago the X-Men stood with the Avengers against DOOM who was doing this exact same shit. But that was BAD. Yet when the Phoenix 5 are doing this it's good. HYPOCRISY at it's finest.

Are the people of Marvel really so stupid that they'd spend decades living in fear of muties taking over the world just to roll over when muties do take over the world?

If they can embrace Norman Osborn despite everyone knowing he was the Green Goblin beforehand, then the answer if pretty much yes.

Well as I said before, a lot of logic got put in the backseat in AVX for the most part, so what do you expect?

If they were to do what they set out to do originally, then AVX would have ended quicker as it's obvious Marvel wants to drag this out like Dark Reign and Civil War beforehand.

Yes, it was.

It came out to the public in the Daily Bugle, or something. I think it was in The Pulse.

Yes it was. There was an issue on Norman Osborn's List miniseries where Ben Urich mentioned that he was exposed by the Green Goblin before he got put in power. Also, Norman mentioned he was getting payback on Luke Cage for kicking his ass when he got exposed when Luke got captured by the Dark Avengers awhile back.

gotta remember citizens of the marvel universe are pretty gullible and will believe anything, like Spider-Man still being a menace and a danger even though he's proven himself time and time again as a hero, and has been on the Avengers for a while now..
