*sniffle* I'm gonna miss Dixon on this book.

We pick up where this book left off with Grace, Katanna, and Ollie about to be executed. Rex discovering that's no space station he's on it's a giant death ray.

Batgirl kicks all kinds of ass freeing her three comrades before Nightwing, Thunder, and Remac appear to rescue the captive Outsiders.

Best parts of the book?

Cassandra's sweet save attempt making twenty one soldiers run for the hills and taking their commanding officer hostage. God I hope whoever continues this book goes with this nice little rapport Batgirl and Katanna are developing. I actually like this friendship.

Not Ollie though glad he's leaving this damn book.

Anyway next highlight was Nightwing and Thunder's discussion of Batman when their fighting the Chinese. That was pretty good as well and probably the last of Nightwing we'll get from Dixon for awhile.

The doctor whose piloting Remac's revealation that he knows who Alfred is.. THE DUDE WHO MADE THOSE SANDWICHS!!

And of course.. Rex smashing into US Space station then coming up on screen saying, "Hope you're insured?"

another fun little issue from Chuck & Co. i disagree with Zechs, i think Ollie makes a damn good addition to this team and i wish he'd stay. other than that, no complaints. i lov this book. and next issue: Looker returns!! because me and maybe 3 other people demanded it! :-D

Will she have her "classic" hooker-cum-fashion-disaster costume? Because otherwise, what's the point?

And has it been explained how/why Ollie is leaving?

Bah he adds NOTHING to the team. NOTHING. Just sexist jokes. That's all. But then again I guess he's filling the Roy Harper spot of uselessness. :twisted:

rubbish. he brings a conscience to the team, and he's one of the few heroes who absolutely won't just accept Batman's word as law. some of these otherOutsiders may doubt or disagree with Bats from time to time, but they'll cave after maybe one comment, if that. Ollie respects Bruce and his intelligence nd his skill, but he'll hammer away at him if he disagrees with him too. i think that's a very important dynamic in this book.

It's assumed he leaves in the R.I.P. crossovers Tieri is writing.

i hope so, but the next issue solicit blurb looks like no.

also, future solicits make it seem like this is not to be an ongoing addition to the team, but merely a two-issue guest-spot. boo. :evil:
