Brilliant way to make Batman look like an idiot.

CBR and the LCS I go too (Graham Crackers) all gave the issue a perfect score. Best review as this guy's so perfectly titled too:

I kinda feel like we need to have a poll now. Curious to see what type of rating this issue would get here at the Outhouse.

Nice way to stir the pot, Zechs.

They closed it because of the abnormal voting frequency spikes and suspected that some bitter fan-boys were creating fake accounts to pad the votes.
You know, somewhat sinilar to when there's conveniently an 11th hour voting change that manages to sway
The Moment Of The Week voting towards what you want to win

What? I have no idea what you mean. It plainly states in the rules moments nominated from Batgirl vol. 4 lose by default due to readers who read it should be embarrassed at actually putting good money on a book that's horrible.
The new one isn't so bad either.
http://forums.comicbookresources.com/sh ... mily-reduxTsk tsk... two votes are a perfect ten? Obviously aliases of Didio and Harras.

I did nothing of the sort. I have no aliases. What you think I suddenly put to speed dial the way people vote? I am totally innocent of whatever accusations that you and IvCNuB4 are making of me. I am an innocent individual who is being targeted by pro-Nu52 fanboys.

I'll give them that.

Debatable, to say the least.
+Redefines the Joker and his relationship to Batman.
Not so much.
+Establishes an alluring new status quo.
"Alluring"? Yeah, no.
It's "New" that the family is annoyed with Bruce? Just like they were in, say, "Bruce Wayne, Murderer"? Nah.
[+Brilliant exploration of Batman’s motives.
Not so much.

Can someone tell me, if Joker didn't really know Batman's secret, how did he get into the cave?
The bug that may or may not have existed?
I dunno...

That one kinda works, with Bruce Wayne's involvement with Batman Inc. If that's public knowledge, that is.

Overall, "Death In The Family" was nothing more than your typical Batman vs Joker storyline. Guys like Dennis O Neil, Alan Grant, Chuck Dixon and Gerry Conway managed to have taken the Batman vs Joker concept and raise the bar with it and despite all of the hype and praise that various other comic book websites are giving it, Snyder has yet to come even remotely close to reaching that bar, let alone exceeding it on any level. The reasoning behind the mutilation of the Joker's face was lame. All of the suspense being built up in regards to what the Joker was planning to do to the Bat family fell flat. The end result is more "been there, done that", than innovative or revolutionary.
