Every time you use the  smiley, James Craig eats a hooker.

Or something, I don't really understand that one...

No, not really. See, I don't give a shit about college sports of any kind. I just don't know why you brought Riker into this.

(And holy shit, you wanna feel old? Fucking Riker is SIXTY YEARS OLD!)

IGN's paid off Batman review:

The conclusion to Death of the Family in Batman #17 is the very reason that we love superhero comics.

+Gruesome and absolutely beautiful artwork.
+Delivers on the hype while defying expectations.
+Redefines the Joker and his relationship to Batman.
+Establishes an alluring new status quo.
+Brilliant exploration of Batman’s motives.

They gave it a perfect 10! :smt011

I'll admit that this issue was better than I expected it to be but that's not saying much after all the bad reviews and comments I read about it prior to reading the actual issue. It just wasn't a satisfying ending to a story called "Death of the Family." Nothing happened that will justify the drama that the solicitations seem to imply spread outward as a result of this arc. All things considered it was just very underwhelming and unfortunately, I will drop this title as a result. Oh well, at least I won't be around for next month's all new edition of the Harper Row Show. :smt102
