I think you're giving them too much credit. Avengers vs. XMen was the most ham-fistter, piece of crap, literary lovemaking to Wolverine that I've ever read. People wouldn't swallow the AvX cock fully, like really get it deep down in our throats, mmmggghhhpphhhmmmmpphhh, like Jason Aaron wanted, so they had to throw us a bone. Don't rewrite history.

Jude's still dumb for praising the art in Uncanny.

They made the right choice. Scott is a true hero and it's good that more X-Men are recognizing that. The ones that matter, at least.

Eh.
I dunno.
I mean... there's a nice tension about who's 'right' with Cyclops on either side. I can admire both the idealistic kid and the cynical veteran.
It's an *interesting* change to the status quo, and it could make a good year of stories, but I kind of enjoyed the books as opposing ones.

Frazer Irving's art says you're a fool.

The fact that Wolverine leads the opposing side automatically makes them wrong. Mary Sue Wolverine is the fucking worst, at least since he's been touched by Jason Aaron's adoring pen.

This was terrible. The big ending was stupid and the whole issue was lackluster.

Punchy needs to learn how to write reviews without just summarizing the plot and giving away spoilers. This thread doesn't have a spoiler tag.

The best part of this issue (and there were very few) was when:

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
Booby told Kitty to kiss his ass after she told him off. Her argument was so fucking stupid that I'm glad he didn't back off.

I forgot how much Frag fucking loves Wolverine. He's like a Greek Jason Aaron.

I don't like Wolverine at all. When I was a kid, I was the only one of my friends that liked Cyclops and hated Wolverine. But Cyclops just sucks now and Wolverine has been written well since Aaron took over Weapon X.

How the hell can you say that? Wolverine is just written as a blatant Mary Sue. He's better than everyone at everything, from gutting people with his claws to being a school principal. Captain America goes to him for advice. Every female character wants to fuck him, and every male character either wants to be his best friend or is jealous of him. He does whatever he wants with no repercussions and no one ever even questioning him. The other Avengers just leave him behind during AvX and they're like "Okay Wolverine, whatever you do, don't go back in time and kill an Avenger," and as soon as they leave, he immediately is like "I'm going back in time and killing an Avenger, bub!" and the other guys left behind are like "Oh Wolverine!" and he goes back and does it and NO ONE IS EVEN MAD AT HIM. He kills all his own kids and Thor is like "well they must have deserved it." He's the worst written character of all fucking time.

Aaron writes him well. Age of Ultron and Avengers under Bendis sucked for the last few years.

Aaron writes him exactly like that. A ridiculous character who's better than everyone at everything.
