WOW. And I was thinking of buying all the trades and hardcovers to get caught up. FUCK THAT. Now I can just wait until Marvel releases better collections than their 4-issues-to-a-volume hardcovers and trades.

Uncanny X Force was my favorite marvel book for quite a while.

Yeah, I liked it, I just couldn't justify continuing to buy $19.99 hardcovers or $16.99 trades with 4 issues in them. I realize they are much cheaper on Amazon, but it's the principle of the thing, you know?

If this is true and Remender's run does indeed have an endpoint in sight, I'm quite excited for the inevitable omnibus to hit the market!

Aside from reviewing a book when it comes out, you know what else we can do? We can look at the history of the writer. So chances are a book written by Jeph Loeb would probably not be enjoyable.

Yeah, because in a free and fair society, because I like comics, I can't like a guy whose written every major character that I've grown up with. How dare I. How dare I love a guy who keeps coming back to comics, despite been offered job after job outside the industry.

And yet, if I said "Oh, Nate Edmonson is so great, I can't wait to read his Random Indy Miniseries Bollocks", No one here would complain, or call me a troll. But because I like a Marvel writer - then I'm open to abuse. I hope Loeb ruins Rich Rider forever. You deserve it.

No, it's not because you like a Marvel writer. I love the work of the following Marvel writers: Aaron, Abnett, Bendis, Brubaker, David, Ellis, Gage, Lanning, Parker, Remender, Slott, Waid & Yost.

It's because you like Loeb's work and Way's work. That's why you are open to abuse.

I'll take any piece of shit book Dan Abnett shits out (and I own every issue of Resurrection Man, so, don't even start), and hold it against Batman Long Hallowe'en. You're telling me you'd take Some garbage by Chris Gage over Superman For All Seasons? Daredevil Yellow? Spider-Man Blue? You're telling me these are inferior, and you don't want him having a go at Nova?

I'm not even going to say what I think of you, because the mods will jump on it as an excuse for Nieto to get his way and ban me, but you are not a person I think I could ever have a polite conversation with about any comics. I've been reading comics for over fifteen years of my life, and I've never been as saddened as I am, reading that.
