Bendis and Larocca on Guardians of the Galaxy? Loeb and McGuinness on Nova? Johns off Aquaman? Direct your unique hits right here, internet!
Source: Bleeding Cool This is the kind of article the Outhouse loves to write: the kind where we don't have to do any actual research! Today, tabloid journalist and stalwart proponent of modesty Rich Johnston served up a heaping dish of Monday morning rumors, including Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness on Nova, Geoff Johns leaving Aquaman, and The Great One Brian Bendis and Salvador Larocca on Guardians of the Galaxy. The rumors, of course, come with a side dish of self aggrandizement, as Johnston, as usual, provides links and infographics with each article showing how he has been right about previous rumors.
In fact, this reporter suspects that, following the trail of links from one article to another from Johnston bragging about his past successes, a person could trace the world wide web back to its origin. None of the stories above have been confirmed with official announcements from Marvel, but you can be sure it will happen next week, and when it does, Rich Johnston will be there to tell you he was right. And when he does that, we will brag about being right about that. It's a vicious circle.
There is no word on yet how Rich Johnston is magically able to predict what Marvel and DC will do weeks in advance. Sources at Marvel are baffled, with Joe Quesada reportedly saying, "Like I keep telling my secretary, Rich Johnston in a dress, I can't figure out how that damn Rich Johnston keeps stealing all of our announcements!"
DC's Dan Didio was also perplexed, saying aloud to himself in his office, "Where is Rich Johnston getting his information?!" reported Rich Johnston, who was hiding behind the curtains.
Stay tuned to the Outhouse as we will continue to report on Johnston's rumor-mongering, almost as much as Johnston himself.
