In Bogus News, Bill & Ted 3 Hits Some Production Snags

Keanu Reeves described the issues as show business stuff.

Source: Independent

Despite being announced at Cannes Film Festival, Keanu Reeves claims that Bill & Ted 3 might not actually happen due to, well, typical Hollywood. Talking to Yahoo Entertainment, Reeves said:

"I don't know if it's a reality. We've been trying for a long time to get that film made, and it still has its challenges."

While not going into exact details, he placed the fault on Hollywood.

"Show business stuff — financing, rights, deals. Nothing creatively."

Bill & Ted Face The Music, if created, will follow on from the prophetic words uttered by Bill and Ted's mentor Rufus (George Carlin), who comes from the future and brings them the knowledge they'll one day write music to save the world. But now Bill and Ted are married with kids and may not fulfill their destiny.

Starring Reeves and Alex Winter, Bill & Ted Face The Music will be directed by Dean Parisot and is written by original Bill & Ted writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
