If DCBS considers that the 4th Wednesday of the month (which it is technically, even if the 1st Wednesday was New Years Day) then I won't get it until next month's shipment. I get my shipment after the 3rd Wednesday of the month every month, which usually works out great but occasionally this sort of thing happens.

I know, I have 3rd week of the month shipment too. Although in my case I always have to wait a few additional days till the package arrives to Perú.

Oh man next month will be ugly. I feel compelled to get that Sin City Omnibus and same goes for the Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus. Not to mention Mircaleman seems like a must buy, right? I'm going to get that on word of mouth but everything I've heard is that it's great stuff. I hope that's true. I'm over $200 (with DCBS discounts) and we still haven't seen DC, Image or IDW's solicits, let alone the smaller press publishers...

Miracleman #1 is a must.
By the way, I reviewed the first issue (I have the old Eclipse edition) here:
http://artbyarion.blogspot.com/2012/01/ ... leach.html

And IDW's solicitations are already up. I'm totally getting Wrightson's Frankenstein Alive Alive:

Yeah I know I want that Rocketeer Anthology book. As well as Samurai Jack Classics Vol 2 and the new TPB from Monkeybrain. Just need to see what everyone else is putting out.

I'm OK with DCBS packing. Now I'm curious about how the packed things in MOC.

If I remember correctly MOC was usually packing with these foam brick like pieces. Which I would like get myself once a year or so in a DCBS package. I was always jealous because they're so much easier to handle then the damn peanuts.

The foam brick is just a DCBS thing afaik. That's actually how my DCBS box this month was packed, the three trades were on the bottom of the box wrapped in a thin(ish) plastic bag with the foam bricks on the corners. It's not terrible packaging, but I would prefer there be more protection on the bottom of the box.

MOC was doing bundles roughly 4-5 tpb or 10-15 single issues in a heavy plastic bag wrapped in a cardboard shell and then packed in peanuts.

Ah, I see.
At least DCBS package is much better than, say, Amazon's.
I've gotten a few ruined tpbs from Amazon due to bad packaging (luckily I got a refund).

I think every once in a blue moon Amazon sends me a trade that I look at and go "Oh you packed that slightly wrong". Last one was Samurai Jack Classics Vol 1. But not wrong enough for me to get bent out of shape over it.

Since I buy my trades to read and own, I have yet to get bent out of shape when Amazon sends me something slightly bent out of shape...
