Awesome news, theres another X-book for me not to get. At last count I've not gotten 5,756 of them.

Well, I can't say that I am the biggest fan of Rachel and I'm already checking out one book with Storm in it (Uncanny X-Force) despite the fact that she is one of my least favorite characters of all time, so I can't say that I am very interested in this title. I may give it a chance because of Copiel's art but I agree with Punchy, there needs to be a pretty good reason why these women are forming this team. Until more information is released, I'll just sit comfortably on the fence about this one.

I still hate Jubilee.

I would switch her with Illyana just for KItty's interactions.

I did that for about 15 years. Never cracked one open even. Just got back into the X-books during Schism and now I'm buying more than even during the 90's.
Luckily I'm enjoying all of it so far.

So, this should be cool.

I'm just getting bored with the fact that they really don't seem to be using a lot of differant characters in all these books.
Maybe someday I'll get lucky and one of the X-editors will really dig Warpath.

Can't all of these characters be found in other X-books? Surely they could have found someone who wasn't currently already on a team. Saying that, I will still be buying this book. Copiel's name alone wins my money.

I like the line up. But weren't none of the Uncanny Avengers not going to be on any other team?

The idea could be fun as a mini series but long term I want to see if the stories lead to a more Birds Of Prey feel.

Didn't I write an article about Marjorie Liu pitching something like this a while ago? I remember writing it because I had to put a picture of Marjorie Liu in the article and ended up wasting a half hour on Google image search...

Interview today had Wood confirm Jubilee would still be a vampire and that he considers her one of the lead characters.

I don't know why they didn't use Age of X to give Jubilee back her humanity and powers like they did with Chamber... dumb.

because at the time of Age of X, Gischler was still writing stories with Jubilee as a vampire, and since he was the person "in control" of her character so to speak, she stayed a vampire...

And i'll say this as an X-Men fan, this book interests me, and for all we know this team is only the team for the first few issues, or they could rotate more lesser known characters in. I wouldn't be surprised if Pixie shows up, as Wood enjoyed writing her in his last X-Men run. But in reality if you want to launch a female X-Men book this would be the roster to use. Their really are only 4 other MAJOR female X-Men, and they are all pretty much off limits. Jean in All-New, Lorna in X-Factor, Dazzler in X-treme and Emma in Uncanny..
