I'm still confused as to how the rape victim who managed to overcome her fear and start trying to help people is a piece of shit character. :smt102

There's a reason that Cassie is dead right now and Kate is alive and well (mostly because Cassie's been a bitch for a long time now)

The only thing you could even remotely hate about Kate is the fact that she constantly fucks with Eli and Speed.

how about the fact that she's primarily an unlikable shrew bitch? add in the fact that she's a stock cliche "comic book heroine has to be a rape victim" character, whose "expertise" with all these weapons came from a year or two at a girls' boarding school, and that earns her the title of Hawkeye? i ain't buying it.

I'm confused how people dislike either Cassie or Hawkingbird.

Has anyone brought up the fact that Clint's probably going to try to get in her pants within four issues? I'm presuming that's been covered and mentioned as a reason why Chap would like this book, right?

Kate is a great character who didn't even want the name of Hawkeye. Hell when Clint came back and they talk in that issue of presents, she almost gave him everything back but Clint pushed her and showed her how to be a better hero and person.

Which is why I'm very excited for her apprenticeship. They'll drive each other nuts.

facts should not get in the way of Chap's hate.
