Is a book about zombies eating the brains of the dead the best way to remember someone who only just died? Maybe wait for the week after, but he should be remembered here, he was an active and important RG member.

Although from his posts, Old Man would probably think it was funny using a Zombie book to remember him, so who knows. Starlord should decide.

Check out the sticky at the top of this forum, Fourthy, but Old Man passed away suddenly this morning while mowing his lawn. It's been a pretty big shock for all of us who hang around together.

I think dedicating a zombie book in Old Man's name would make him laugh, so it's perfect.

Also, my friends and I are planning on getting together probably next weekend for a bonfire and beers in his memory. We're each bringing a Bendis comic to burn in his honor. We figured he'd like that.

There's going to be a huge hole this Wednesday at the table in the shop where we all gather to chat and tease each other.

Wow, I missed the sticky in the news stand. it makes sense now, but I never look up top here unless I am going to vote in one of them poll thingies. I looked in the asylum after I saw the posts here. Thanks for pointing it out Starlord. Is there anything any of us can do?

I lost a customer who had become a really good friend about this time last year and it hit really hard and was just as big a shock, so I know what you and your shop's group is going through.

Just remember him fondly. He was a real character with a true heart of gold. Oh, and always remember that Blackest Night was much better than The Watchman. :-)

Is there a reason the sticky is only on the newsstand?

Starlord felt it was better there, since Old Man preferred the comics discussion side of The Outhouse and mainly posted here.

Okay cool. I just happened to be in the News Stand area and noticed. Thought maybe he deserved more recognition, but starlord knows best.

I went back and forth about it but I remember him telling me once that he usually avoided the other side since he mostly enjoyed talking comics and picking on Punchy. So I figured this was the best place for it.

I thought Old Man would get a chuckle knowing we dedicated a Zombie book to him, wherever he is.
