Looking at the July solicits that have been posted for Marvel, DC and Dark Horse, it looks like another quiet month for me. I'll be getting that Nexus Omnibus and Crime Does Not Pay Archives from Dark Horse but that's about the only things that appealed to me. I dig the old stuff, I guess. At this point nothing new (outside of Valiant and anything by Brandon Graham) really appeals to me.

I'm waiting to see if Amazon does that major discount on Nexus like they did for Grendel. But they don't have the book listed yet.

Like Grendel, that's a format I'd read it in.

In general its all comics again. And still an over $400 price. Although of course waiting to see where the discounts are.

Debating on that Shaolin Cowboy TP from Dark Horse. But the original series from Burlyman, but not a fan of the potential format of the book if its more text then actual comic.

Its Geof Darrow for pete's sake, what we want to read about what the character's doing or watch Darrow draw it? But again, have to wait to find out exactly how its being produced.

Otherwise, the only other HC's I saw was the Masked Man HC from Dark Horse and the next Castle HC.

I'm having a serious problem. I have read maybe ten comics this week and I feel very disinterested in reading any.

Well, it is a start. I sat down with my wife and we went through my pull list.

June Cart at Start: 224 Comics
June Cart After Culling: 123 Comics.

Yes, it is still a car payment worth of comics, and I believe there will be more cuts to come as the months go, but for a first run I think this was pretty good. I'll post my order shortly.

I don't think I've seen your full pull list in a while, but that's quite a culling. As a core "big two" reader, I'm not sure you can cut much deeper without it really hurting. I'd suggest cutting the miniseries and waiting for the trades.

And then there was one... Evan, stay strong brother. You're an inspiration to us all! :-D

PS--No Valiant! Shame on you! :smt013
