Yeah. Maybe you're right. I guess the codicil to the rule is that If there's a book I really want, I just get it. It would be nice if DCBS would let us buy which FCBD books went beyond our freebies (in which case, I would get them ALL).

Since no one's done it yet:

And my only response to it is: Everything falls into something I can afford. We shall see what the discounts are to help.

Any one hear about the problems with MOC? Rumors on FB could be they are closing shop or something bad is going on.

Yeah, I actually sent them an email asking if I could buy FCBD but they told me that their distributor didn't allow that.

Yeah, people are freaking out on the MOC Facebook page. Could be the company is going under.

from MOC FB

We're working with another company to make fulfill all outstanding orders. We're working through the details and we're hoping to be able to fully inform you about what is going on with us very soon. I appreciate your business and patience!

Looks like they are going under.

Not sure who the temp fufiller would be. could be DCBS, MyComicShop or even midtown. Heck it could even be Westfield. My last order from MOC was in November so I'm not hit too bad and it was for $100.00 in comics.

It has been interesting to see how MOC reacts to all this. To be fair their site as never been very good since they converted and customer support has been seriously lacking.

I never bought anything from them, really. I'm a loyal DCBS customer since 2006.

Bleeding Cool has the story and says they're talking to a respected competitor. It's gotta be DCBS. Which means...........BK's gonna have to get used to sales tax!

THE MOC WARS ARE OVER!!!!!!!!!!! DCBS WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to this thread on Ol'Rama, I've been a loyal DCBS customer since 2007 myself. Sorry to see MOC go, though. Competition is good. I wonder what will happen to DCBS's pricing without them around.

Meanwhile for me this may be my worst month ever. Just the Sin City and Infinity Gauntlet omniboo put me over my budget.

Crazy... I've been buying from MOC for years. Sad to see it ending.
But DCBS has clearly done well for others here, and it's nice to see them pick up the slack.
I'm sure I'll get on fine with them.
