I read the first series and it was good. I have yet to read a Garth Ennis themed WWII comic and not be disapointed. These series are highly recommended.

See it's advice like that I missed over at 'Rama. GOSD we need to get you a weekly column GOSD vs. Spoilers. It would cover ways how to avoid spoilers when you mail order your comics.

GOSD is right, the original, I assume Alan Moore series, is very good. Though the the MI13 I thought started off good but is starting a slow slide down. It may have just been the story arc recently but the series has a lot of potential.

I cave in for you and Midas. Is Evan here too? Only will post in coc and boc once a month. Plus I was here from the beginning anyway:

Rock! I think Evan does post here. We'll get him to if he doesn't, I'm sure.

I'm really regretting missing the all the drama over at the 'rama boards...

Here's my final February CART:

SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN TP VOL 04 (MAY080046)
EMPOWERED TP VOL 05 (MR) (C: 0-1-2)
GANTZ TP VOL 06 (MR) (C: 0-1-2)
MPD PSYCHO TP VOL 09 (MR) (C: 0-1-2)
STARMAN OMNIBUS HC VOL 03
MOBY DICK HC
REX LIBRIS TP VOL 02 BOOK OF MONSTERS
WARLORD OF IO & OTHER STORIES ONE-SHOT *Special Discount*
SIMPSONS CLASSICS #20
A DRIFTING LIFE TP (MR)
COLOR OF EARTH GN (C: 0-1-2) *Special Discount*
TICK KARMA TORNADO COMPLETE WORKS TP
RESURRECTION TP VOL 01
TEZUKAS BLACK JACK TP VOL 05 (C: 0-1-2)
PLUTO URASAWA X TEZUKA GN VOL 03 (C: 1-0-1)
OISHINBO GN VOL 03 RAMEN & GYOZA (C: 1-0-0)
IKIGAMI ULTIMATE LIMIT GN VOL 01 (MR) (C: 1-0-0)

With $35 in credits, I managed to pull all of this off for $152. February is manga month for me, with no less than 8 manga (well, including one Korean manwah) volumes. This is helped in part by the extra discount DCBS is offering on Viz books (which encouraged me to try the already highly discounted Ikigami Ultimate Limit manga and pick up the Oishinbo volume).

Lots of great other stuff, too. I'm getting yet another Tick compilation (and another is solicited next month-how much of this stuff is there?). Also getting Volume 2 of Rex Libris (which is totally awesome) and a side project by the same creator (Warlord of Io), which I'm sure will be great too. I've seen some preview pages of Sienkiewicz's Moby Dick and it looks go gorgeous to pass up.

Books that didn't make the cut are below:

DRAGONERO TP (C: 0-1-2)--Love sword & sorcery, but don't have $$$ for an unknown..
BAYOU TP VOL 01 *Special Discount*--looks gorgeous but I guess I'll have to read it online
POINT BLANK TP NEW ED--Early Brubaker and a prequel to the excellent Sleeper series. I will have to get this eventually.
MMW AVENGERS TP VOL 01 *Special Discount*
MARVEL ZOMBIES TP VOL 02
EXILES ULTIMATE COLLECTION TP BOOK 01
ESSENTIAL DAZZLER TP VOL 02--I think I will really enjoy this slab of 80's comics goodness if I can ever afford it.
ACE-FACE MOD WITH METAL ARMS GN (MR)--Looked cool. Can't afford it...
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HC VOL 01 A GOOD AND DECENT MAN (C: 0-1-1) Looks literary and interesting. Can't afford it.
LOST GIRLS HC (A) (C: 1-1-2)
FROM HELL TP NEW PTG (MR)
MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA MANGA FICTION SC (C: 0-1-2)--Will probably pick this up at B&N down the line...
