Catching up with the DCnU - Detective Comics

Postby S.F. Jude Terror » Tue Jun 26, 2012 2:49 am

So I'm finally reading DC relaunch books all in one shot. Detective Comics is not as bad as Dark Knight, but it is a mess nonetheless. I find myself enjoying the backup stories far more than the main story. It is just drawn out and murky and sort of boring. Could DC not afford enough writers for 52 books? I won't be sticking with this for long if the creative team doesn't change.

You should give I, Vampire a shot: it's really good.

I'll get to that soon. Gonna finish the bat books first.

As soon as I saw the last page in Detective #1, I knew I wasn't going to buy it. Ever.

Stick to batman, batman and robin, nightwing and batman inc. in regards to the bat books.
