Issues 7-12 really drag. I don't even know if I want to hunt down the last 12.

Did you ever meet him? Do you have the whole series?
Well, yeah. I just said I met him. But I don't have the whole series. I have the issues published under the Cheese Comics imprint. Including the ashcan. And the first 12 or so issues. Like I said, I haven't re-read them in a while.

When I met Asala, he looked like an All-American guy. Not one of those self-important artistes. He was just happy to be there to meet people. Since Poe ended I haven't seen him at any other shows. Do you know what he's up to these days?

Sorry, I wrote that really sleepy.

From what I can tell, he seems to be teaching, but that's from Jan. 2006 on the blog listed on housofusher.com

Zenguru wrote:misac, have you read the Phantom Stranger Showcase? Dr. Thirteen is an excellent adversary for the Stranger in those stories. They are extreme polar opposites. If you ever get it, let me know how you like it. I'm in the middle of that Showcase right now and am enjoying it very much. The Aparo art helps, too.

Yeah I have it. That's the reason I bought this mini.

I read Sensational Spider-man Annual and X-men First Class Special. I loved SSA. I really liked Salvador Larocca's new art style in this. I'm surprised they didn't tie this in to Civil War. First Class was ok, nothing spectacular, but I really enjoyed the artwork.

I was pleasantly surprised to see The Eternals was an oversized HC. *swoon* The Eternals Omnibus was awesome too.

Is that the regular series he started with Ed Hannigan? Or the run he drew with Denny O'Neil when Green Lantern was billed as Green Lantern/Green Arrow?

That's the Grell series. After Longbow Hunters, it was the first GA solo ongoing. The first 80 issues or so were Mike Grell Goodness, including the two issue crossover with Grell's character, the Warlord.

Who I also own a near-complete run of. :)

I finished Civil War: Frontline yesterday. Tony's a real d-bag. I really enjoyed the series, looking forward to the WWH version. Lee Weeks' art in that was top notch, Wonder Man never looked cooler.

Is it totally ironic that I have no problem picturing you dancing to funk music while reading comics? :P

When Hulk's smashing, George Clinton should be blasting.
