Cyclops has gone through A LOT of shit in the last few years... plus there's always the possibility that there's still some of the Void in his mind.

I just want them to forget about the Void crap...really, anything having to do with the travesty that was the Sentry would be good.

We couldn't get that lucky. If they brought back the Stacey Twins and the clone saga, then you can be sure the Sentry/ Void will resurface.

The Sentry was a horrible character. He was literally nothing but a plot device.

The Jenkins mini was good but they should've stopped there.

Maybe Emma knows Scott is really a Skrull and is holding out on him as a result-I guess she doesn't like alien sex apparently.
On a separate note though, we all know that Scott is going to screw up his relationship with Emma like he did with Jean. At that point, Namor will take her away from Scott as you know Namor loves his blondes-Namor is the Wolverine to Scott and Emma's relationship if you look at it.

I don't believe that. Even the follow-up Sentry books blew and Bendis didnt do them.

He's just a boring character. There's very little you can do with uber-powerful characters like that. Either they never face any challenges because they're so powerful, thus they stand in the background and look menacing... Or they go bad and have to be killed/locked in another dimension/exiled to space/whatever.

It's not 'out of character' behaviour, it's character development. People change over time. They've done a great job of setting this up over years and years of stories. It's not like he just woke up one day and started acting like this. It goes back to the Morrison run and continues through Whedon and into the current era. The change was gradual and believable.

I don't know that. In fact, I hope that Scott is right about the Phoenix so that after Avengers vs. X-Men Scott and Emma can have a little time off and Scott doesn't have to have the weight of the mutant race on his shoulders for awhile.

Namor is more like the Wolverine to Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman's relationship. You can bet that if he were to get wind that those two were having a fight, he would drop any ideas about Emma in a heart beat.
