Maybe this is an elaborate scam to take our minds off the fact that Roddy's not really dead! It was his twin brother, not him! But we're so busy arguing, we're not looking at that.

Very meta, Mr. Slott. Very outside the box.

Zechs has been saying this since the issue first dropped.

the 90's really deserves it for the most part though. I mean when your two biggest Spidey stories are Maximum Carnage and the Clone Saga, it really reflects poorly on the decade. And let's not forget teen tony and the new "sexy" avengers.

Yeah, it's got some very negative moments but as bad as people say the Clone Saga was, Ben Reilly is generally well liked. And the Crossing and Teen Tony was a low point but the Heroes Return Avengers and Iron Man are well regarded. Hell, some people claim the Busiek/ Pérez Avengers to be the definitive run on the title. Mark Waid/ Ron Garney's original run on Captain America? That brought the character back from a very dark place (I'm talking Iron Cap, people).

So, yeah, there were some bad things about the nineties but there were also well loved moments. It was a time when Ka-Zar had a series that was actually liked. That in itself was amazing.

I'm still surprised Slott attempted to decipher the ramblings of Zechs. :P

The trick is to translate it into Mongolian, then over to Ancient Latin, then PIG Latin, then drunken hobo, finally: English Hobo.

Dan Slott, if you PM Zechs with "I killed Kingsley because he's a bitch," I will purchase two copies of every comic you write for the rest of your/my life (or until the industry implodes).

But if he did how would you know? Because I wouldn't say a damn thing about it. You're trying to swindle Slott!!!

And there's nothing wrong with that or the fact that this thread is going just as I planned. Well save for the selling hiccup, but then again it gave me a Dan Slott appearance. Now I want another!

Rubbish. Teen Titans, Claremont X-Men, Born Again, Armor Wars, Byrne's Superman, Stern/Byrne Cap, JMD Cap, good Gru Cap, Byrne FF, COIE, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Swamp Thing, Perez WW, Stern Avengers, WCA, beginning of PAD Hulk, Dark Knight Returns, Batman Year 1, BATO, Death of Captain Marvel, New Mutants, JLI, All-Star Squadron, Moore's Superman stories, Suicide Squad...and on and on. The 80s actually weren't as crappy as any other...

Those gems don't take away the turds. I can name just as many good or great titles in the villified 90s. I'm a child of that decade and think it gets a really bad rap.
