Richard Donner, the man who directed the first Superman movie, and former assistant Geoff Johns (Superman, Action Comics, 52) are set to write a story arc in Action Comics starting with #844. The villain for the arc? An all-new Zod accompanied by Ursa and Non, the fellow villains from the first Superman movie. Art will be done by Adam Kubert.

Expect more news about this announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con.
