Only 4 issues to go and a lot of chickens are coming home to roost for Matty Roth. Brian Wood is doing a really great job here of showing the impact of War on not just Matty, but also the other characters and of course, the most important character of all in this book, New York City. Seeing what’s become of Soames was heart-breaking. Strong art from Burchielli again, and did anyone else think the colours looked extra-good this month? Jeromy Cox stepping up his game it seems. I’m really looking forward to the end of this story, and I still think there’s another sting in the tail for us, what was it Matty said about a town car?
