I'm assuming yesterday was the birthday and today you're just trying to be controversial? :smt011

Yesterday was my Birthday.

And I'm not trying to be controversial, I genuinely felt Batwoman was boring, and very much a typical Bat-comic, there was nothing there I haven't seen 100 times before, apart from Lesbianism, which only goes to prove how DC have exploited the character's sexuality to make up for shortcomings in actual characterisation and good stories.

The art was nice, but it was unnecessarily complex, such a straightforward story was only made less enjoyable due to Williams' confusing layouts. It's like dressing a dog in Luis Vuitton or something.

But this thread isn't about Batwoman, it's about Morning Glories, so I'll save the rest of my thoughts for when I do eventually do my review.

So a total of 2 pages if her even touching on her own sexuality is exploitive? What you can't admit is that even after getting a free copy, your mind was already set on disliking the story no matter what.

There is only blah in Bruvengers if you want there to be.

Kind of like the lesbian exploitation that only occurs in Punchy's copies of Batwoman.

How do I know Punchy's not right about Batwoman? Maybe you should send me a free copy.

Maybe Punchy should send the free copy I sent to him to you.

I sent him the 0 issue though, I think you read that.

I think BS sent him Elegy, so he'd have to be the one to guilt Punchy into passing it forward.

Punchy wouldn't even send me a life-preserver if I were hanging from a cliff.

I think we should all just boycott this week like we should have hawks last pick therefore kicking punch out of the group.

That or we could use this as an opportunity to grow The Cult of Nick Spencer with our glowing reviews.

Punchy I'll happily take Elegy off your hands if you don't want it. Or just send it back to BS?

Also I loved the first issue of morning glories so I'm sure when I catch up through the rest of the week, I will love #8 as well.

It's more than two pages, and it's the only thing that makes her any different from any other Bat-character, which I think is exploitative.

I did read it, and it's an honest opinion, I'm sorry if that annoys you, but hey.
