I used to get New Avengers, which I quite enjoyed, but I don’t get anything now, not after the disease known as Wolverine infected all teams in the Marvel Universe and continues to do so. I had only been getting the Avengers since the late 70’s.

The Justice League was another title that I had been getting for a while, (since the early 80’s) and now after DC had decided to obliterate 75yrs of their history I had to drop that title as well.

In 2005-6 (I think) at the time of Blue Beetles murder in Countdown to Crisis I had been spending about £100 + every month , today I cough on comics per month about £12, so that says a lot about the state of crap the big two are producing…………..

It's time to take a look at what other publishers are putting out. You'll find great work in Image, IDW, Avatar or Dynamite.

Wolverine isn't in Hickman's New Avengers.

Think of it as more of an Illuminati book.

I read this in trades... and yeah, it's getting to the point where it needs to resolve some of these 'mysteries'. Volume 1 was awesome and there was so much potential. But it's starting to feel a little like the last 2-3 seasons of Lost.

yup they just keep throwing more mysteries at you without any resolution.

Dropped Uncanny Avengers Mouse Guard. I like the creative team on Uncanny Avengers, but the story was doing nothing for me. I could not engage at all. I dropped Mouse Guard because the last issues was available digitally for months before they finally released the comic. I am switching to reading it digitally. I just dropped it altogether.
