...?apologies, this is me rabbling on...

Different lingo? Like what?I was in the Army for six years, military lingo does exist. And with Steve feeling/thinking that this team contains more soldiers than super heroes I would think that it would feel natural to speak to them that way.

A little odd. Isn't this similar to what's being down with Flash right now? I like what you're thinking for Beast and War Machine/Iron Man 2.0 though.Yeah. Just read Venom #1 and looks like Way and I had the same ideas except for me wanting to use Jameson instead of Thompson. Thanks for the compliment on Hank and Rhody.

Not sure if I'm feeling Sif (I could be wrong, of course. Was thinking something similar about Valkyrie earlier), but I like your plans for Echo. I'm a huge fan of Echo. There is just a lot of cool ways to use that character with her ties to Commander Rogers, DareDevil and Wolverine. She could easily become an A-list character if done right. You should check out my Earth-M: Shadowland article where I focus on her a lot.

We've seen Max Fury and John Steele... anyone else in the Shadow Council REALLY has to be on their game. And I kinda like someone saying no to Steve. But I don't know about Nova dying. If he has to die, shouldn't it be in one of the space books?
-THE FUTURE OF THE SERIES-Nova died in Thanos Imperative. And for once someone telling Steve no just feels right!

Okay now, here is where I jump in. First things first, Steve and Sharon are concerned about Nova being MIA so they call someone in;

Darkhawk's an interesting idea, but I'm not feeling Josiah X. I mean, he was a pretty good guy when we last saw him. It'd have to be a GOOD story for me to buy Josiah X here.I like Darkhawk and he has ties to Nova so it fits. Josiah X, to me it's due to us not really knowing much about the character. We've seen him in Truth and The Crew, that's it. What if the SC offered to heal his father?

COOL idea! Thanks! Oh, and don't forget Attilan. The Inhumans left it there when they left for the moon.

I LIKE this idea being picked up!Thanks!

Interesting...Thank you.

The MU's version of Fringe? Serious potential there...
Just makes sense in a lot of ways.

Looks like I'm not the only one which wanted Venom on the SA team

How would your plans change if you came on board when Remender did?

What do you mean?

I've been thinking about redoing this article. I was never really happy with it. For the roster I was thinking about doing one of those "first page team roster-what's been going on" pages

Basically, I was asking what would you do with the book if you came on board as writer right now instead of from the beginning? If everything from the previous SA runs happened, and then you took over?

After Warren Ellis?

Well, I wouldn't really change much from my original roster. I'd add/remove a character or two but besides new ideas/concepts I'd still keep Steve on board. I don't see why he can't be Commander Rogers on this book and be Cap in all the others. Logan was in his brown/yellow suit in Origins while in the blue/yellow in others. Same as Peter is in his FF costume in FF/NA but in the original blue/red in Amazing.

Obviously there needs to be a second in command and I like the idea of having a "Bravo/Second" team in case anything ever happens to the "main/Alpha" team. I'd construct the second team from characters that have found out about the SA team or have been added at a leter date such as the Green Mist and Shang Chi.

Also, for Ellis' run I liked how the SA team was cracking down on the Shadow Councils' plans. But if the SC is very secretive and have just been found out how did Steve and the SA team find out about all these missions? Can you say John Steel? Brubaker left with Steve offering John a way to get back at the SC for manipulating him for decades and what better way to than to get back than to shut down their operations?

I would never have added Hawkeye, Pym or Cpt. Britain. Those to me would/are horrible additions. Venom? I said that when issues one of Venom was released that he should be on the SA team.

Steve and the SA team would be keeping eyes on everyone all over the world. Who's where and what's going on. I think what Steve needs is consultants. Characters brought in only for informations. Steve would "interview" such characters like Fury, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Reed and Black Panther. If Carnage takes over a town why not talk to Peter to gather information about the villain first that send in the SA team before SWORD shows up?
