There’s one word to describe this issue, and it’s epic. There are so many epic moments in this one book. The whole Thor/Thing/Hulk fight was amazing, Immonen drew his ass off, and I don’t think I’ve found Thor this cool since Ultron Unlimited. Cap facing up to Sin was bad-ass too, and then when The Serpent came down and started reigning ten tons of shit onto the Avengers… wow. And then when he broke Cap’s shield into tiny bits… wow. Now obviously I know that the heroes won’t lose this fight, but things do seem dire. It all rests on drunk Tony Stark now I guess.

it was a little "too" easy for thing to be turned back. I know Franklin has the power to do it, but i wsh they wouldn't have done that.

It did come out of left field, didn't it?

If Franklin does have access to his powers then things will get interesting..

I loved it except for the Spider-man and Franklin parts.

This is a great series and event.

My only issue was Spider-Man quitting. It doesn't make sense for him.

In a fight with gods where the world is at risk he took time out to check on his loved ones...seemed reasonable to me.

Cap & Spidey quitting/admitting defeat is asinine. They've been in tougher spots than this before.

Ben was out of character the moment he was 'worthy' - getting him back was too easy but even though it worked, I'll bet nobody will even think of Franklin doing his 'fix' with the others.

And as "epic" as a Thor/Hulk fight should be, this wasn't the Hulk so it's impact doesn't register with me.

While I wish the colors weren't so dark, the art was great.

Spidey is more likely to fight to his dying breath FOR his loved ones, than leave the fight to see them.

Also, who does he have to see? Only Aunt May.

I wish I was kidding - but just look at the last page of this book for the hard truth. :-(

Most of those aren't really loved ones.

Is he really leaving the final battle to go see Jonah?
