Went to trades after first arc. I'm generally not a big fan of Gail Simone, but I do like Secret Six.

I'll still read Tomasi in trades, but I'm probably done with the GL/GLC singles after The Blackest Night.

The only DCU stuff I'd really recommend at the moment is Trinity, Booster Gold and the Superman books.

Gaiman's Batman was good, as is Green Lantern on occasion, and Brave & The Bold had a good last arc with Hine and Braithwaite.

Other than that, stick with Vertigo.

Damn right. Gaiman's Batman issues is really the only thing I might really consider buying especially considering that the eventual trade is going to have older issues that probably have little in common with Gaiman's issues.

I think the hardcover is also collecting some old Gaiman Batman stories from the late 80s when he was first breaking into the US scene, Legends Of The Dark Knight stories and stuff like that.

That could be cool.

I got a question for you since you haven't been around in awhile: what's your opinion of the possiblity of Barbara Gordon becoming Batgirl again?

i am frankly AMAZED that you like Trinity.

Booster is awesome, Secret Six is better, the GL books are damn good, and i agree about Hine's arc on B&B. other than that, i'm really digging Outsiders, Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, JLA and JSA are servicably fun but nothing special, and the Bat-books have been really solid (well, 'Tec, Nightwing and Robin anyay, but who knows WHAT they'll be like after Battle for the Cowl).

but that's about it at present.

This is lame. As bad as Secret Invasion was, you didn't need a 6 page FAQ to figure it out. :D

I *still* don't understand what was so hard to understand about the book. I mean, it's really pretty straightforward stuff. Is it great? No. At best it's 'meh', but it's NOT hard to understand.

Obviously it is, otherwise this FAQ wouldn't exist.
