But then, he didn't have that happen in issue one, did he? ;)

He was a memberr of the Titans during Ray Palmer's days. Goes back a bit, and no, it happened later in the series. It would be funny if he did have his legs ripped off though. That's something I'd try to get past the editors. LOL!

He was a member of the Titans during Dan Jurgens apparently forgettable run. :D

I have a few scattered issues of that run. I kinda liked it.

Fun fact: Dan Jurgens is the writer that got me into DC

How come DC has this weird relationship where artists become writers? It seems to me that it happens a lot more over there than anywhere else. They also seem to upgrade their editors to writers ala Tomasi, who I do enjoy, however, it just seems a bit odd. Are they running out of writers that they can trust or what?

jurgens was pretty much always both an artist and writer. He created Booster Gold and wrote and drew every issue of his original series back in the 80s.

i never imagined that a characters baldness could be used in such a perverse way when they gave him that scar. hopefully HBO will hurry up and get it out of preproduction already :(
