Good Fraction writing, from the looks of it. And Allred is always great.

This might be my most anticipated NOW book.

You get that from the stirring dialogue?

The Immortal Iron Fist - amazing
The Order - really good
Iron Man (except Detroit Steel arc :smt011 ) - made me care about Iron Man for the first time in a long time, if ever
Hawkeye - amazing

Pretty solid bunch of good-to-great titles. Sure his X-Men was boring, and his Thor was all over the place, and I won't even get into PWJ or Fear Itself..

But put him on a book with a great hook, or quirky characters.. the guy knocks it out of the park more often than not.

The preview in the free Marvel NOW! preview issue for FF was great. I really look forward to this. Seems like a book he could really bring some of his Casanova-type stuff into the MU.

Defenders is/was great as well.

I think outside of Jason Aaron * (who I trust soley on the fact he loves Ben Grimm) Matt Fraction is the one writer in Marvel's bench I'd trust to take over the Fantastic Four books.

Yes he's a little inconsistent but he has the kind of big ideas the FF needs.

*Waid had his turn and was awesome but rarely is a writers second run on a book good.

I'm not a fan of Fraction but, to be fair, I haven't read any of those, so maybe that's why. His X-Men was really bad, though, as was Fear Itself. Maybe I'll give his Iron Man a try.

His X-Men was more boring than bad. It wasn't Austen/Milligan.

In terms of resetting the numbering on a whole bunch of their titles back to issue #1 -- yes. In terms of rebooting their continuity like DC -- no.
