Fair point. But it's an example that there's hardly any characters who are dead for good. Comics are cyclical. People come back if you wait long enough. Besides, nobody's said Wally's being replaced anyway. Geoff Johns is usually pretty clever about this stuff. |

Barry was always pretty dull back when he was alive. Same thing with Hal Jordan. But Johns actually made Hal more interesting than he'd been in years. Perhaps it does deface a perfect moment from Crisis bringing Barry back. But maybe Johns can work some magic here. After all, in the few moments he alluded to Barry's past, he revealed some things that never would have been printed 20 years ago. Johns retroactively made Barry do the mind-wipe thing on some of his villains in the wake of Id Crisis. And we knew he wouldn't stay dead forever. Even Wolfman thought of a neat way to bring him back. Perhaps that is the method Johns is using. If so, I heartily support more Barry Allen stories. |

With the popularity of CSI and criminal science, they feel Barry will be more interesting. thing is, how long has be been dead? and how much as criminal science improved since he died? |

Don't tell me you're one of those posters that loves using rolly-eyes whenever someone just happens to mention they'd like to see more of their favorite non-Hal GL. |

Well the Flash characters can learn at super speed, so it would only take a day or so for him to be totally caught up, probably not even that long. Also with the sliding time scale it's probably only been like 6 years or so, at most. since he died. So it's not like he's that far behind the times. |

The first issue or two were a little clunky, but since then it's been really good. Too bad it looks like he's only doing one or two more issues before someone else takes over. ![]() |

Peyer has been great. Wish there was a better artist on the book, though. |

It's been established (by Johns himself) that Bart is the only speedster that retains the information he learns at super speed |

I hadn't seen that before. Makes sense though. It gives Bart a unique quality. |
