Hey it's an actual Green Goblin on Hobgoblin fight. Why can't I embrace my inner nerd?

Like Black Bolt.. you need some restraint. That and you'll burn out before the comic comes out and if it fails you or hurts you... well... we don't need that noise. Your Goblin fandom is something like on to a nuclear reaction. Run out of control and the resulting carnage is horrifying.

It'll be four Goblins (Green Goblin, Goblin Knight (Phil Urich), Menace, and the newbie hinted to be born a few issues prior to this) against Hobgoblin. The odds are already against him. I just want a good fight that showcases both Goblins before things get dirty with the three others join in. Though if it takes all four to beat Kingsley down then that means the original Hobgoblin is the truly toughest there is given it takes four goblins to beat him.

Slott is reading this and is having one very evil laugh...

We hurt his feelings when we spoiled Amazing Spider-Man #700.

I figured as much but it doesn't help much as it's basically stipulated that Kingsley has to lose in order to make the Green Goblin look good. I would rather it be a case where Kingsley makes short work of Menace, Goblin Knight and co before taking on GG in which it ends in a standoff and Kingsley escapes to plan his next move. After that, Kingsley would play both Ock-Spidey and GG against each other for the rest of the story arc and then return for another showdown and then we focus more on Kingsley in the other books.

He's going to being laughing an evil laugh that shall echo through history itself.

He'll introduce not one but two new Goblins. Hobgoblin Z and Cat Goblin. One will die a horrible death after seeming to conquer all. The other will be off eating a tuna salad sandwich and drinking a diet Pepsi.

Then someone's mom is getting sexed.

If Slott and McKeever teamed up on a title featuring a character or characters that Zechs is a fan of... Zechs will be in more trouble then Godzilla in his mother's china shop.

I hope not but not happy that Marvel's short-sighted idiocy keeps fucking up the character. I mean I get the fact that Norman as the Green Goblin will always be one of Spiderman's greatest enemies but Kingsley as the Hobgoblin deserves to get his shine too. However Marvel keeps blowing some golden opportunities to let that happen-For example he should have shown up to terrorize Flash Thompson Venom in his book or even the new Scarlet Spider. Plus we have yet to see Betty Brant's reaction or whereabouts in regards to Kingsley showing up again-I mean she was hellbent on hunting him down for setting up her husband to get killed, so why have we not seen her wanting to go after Kingsley again? However from what I understand Yost hinted there were some plans for the character so let's hope that they don't mess this up.
