Hal and Sinestro have just been taken off the board, the next person to say they're dead is getting a dick punch...and not the kind you like.

That first one makes me especially sad. I loved that book, back in the day. :(

OH I believe they're dead just to fulfill the "Hal Jordan will be the greatest Black Lantern" crap and they'll obviously come back in some stupid Johnsian way..

Still can't believe how bad this was though...usually these Johns event platforms sucker you in with big expectations only to beat you back down to earth by the end.

For a while though it seems he's unable to even get the start of his stories going and everything plain sucks from the beginning.

I liked the touch that the new members of the Third Army keep their original eyes. :-D

That whole scene looked like foreshadowing to me, that with or without a heart, the eyes will still be the mirror to the soul of those individuals.

Funny how the Guardians made the Third Army look monsterish. You'd think they'd have wanted to create their perfect army to look more perfect (which I'd assume would be short with blue skin).

I wonder what the mystery is about the First Lantern. Can't be someone we already know .. the silhouette could look like Abin Sur, but he's dead so ....
Based on the coloring did you guys think that he wielded all the colors of the emotional spectrum, or maybe just the White ?

Yeah, I theorize Johns was up all night watching Star Trek episodes when he churned this out. I usually like Johns's work but now I think he is running on fumes here and is turning into another Bendis with how many books he keeps getting put on.
