I heard about Green Wake a while ago. . might have been through the creators on Facebook, but I do not believe there was ever a formal announcement.

Yeah, both did happen and both suck balls, while Green Wake wasn't for me, I hate that it's not continuing for both the creators and the fans, as the effort into making an excellent comic was always there.

As for Last of the Greats, here is a story that takes the Superhero genre and does something refreshing with it, only to get ignored. Here's to hoping that the trade has long enough legs so we can explore that Universe more.

yeah, I agree blame it on the Kirkman. Though I believe the issue was mostly due to cost to produce Green Wake vs. actual sales.

In both cases it came down to the sales of the single issues needing to be better, with trade sales not being brisk enough.
