This is exactly what I am afraid of! I am just hoping that Marvel remembers that Richard took the entirety of the Nova Force with him when he went into the Cancerverse...which means that for Jeph Loeb's little bastard Nova to be running around, Richard would have to have returned for him to have even a small portion of the Nova Force.

Maybe we will get lucky and Loeb will write his stupid new "Nova" while everyone else continues to write stories about the real Nova, Richard Rider. Maybe they can even add Richard to the line-up of the new Guardians of the Galaxy.

Wasn't it established in either the Drax mini or maybe in the Thanos mini that Drax is reborn much like Thanos and Adam Strange?

I think it was part of the explanation of the new look. I didn't like how A&L devolved him back into the old Drax.

Hmmmmm...I don't remember it being explained like that. I just thought it was a one time resurrection but I could be mistaken.

I don't know that they really devolved him. They just put him in an updated version of his original costume because Thanos was back and his primary purpose is to destroy Thanos. He was still the same Drax that has been around since the Drax mini...he just decided he wanted to dress up when he went into the Cancerverse. :-D

I don't mind Sam Alexander; after all, there is a Nova Corps. But if you're gonna bring Star-Lord back and Thanos back, having Richard Rider as Nova Prime somewhere is all good with me, because Richard Rider's character development since 2005 has been AWESOME.

I wouldn't mind Sam Alexander that much except for the fact that without Richard Rider in the regular Marvel Universe there is NO Nova Corps. Richard Rider reabsorbed the entirety of the Nova Force before going into the Cancerverse during the Thanos Imperative. So, unless Richard Rider returned and has restarted the Nova Corps, there is absolutely no reason for Sam Alexander to exist or be a member of the Nova Corps.

as it stands the only two people who have "died" in the cancerverse or leading up to it is Vulcan and Nova.. what with Black Bolt, Starlord and Thanos being brought back.. i don't think Richard is totally dead. as someone said no body equals no death
