Well, I can understand that. You are a man of principle.

Although I can't boycott Marvel totally, I still refuse to pick up anything Spider-Man, but Ultimate. I've heard the stories are pretty good, and I'm sure that this will all be unraveled eventually, but like Houman, I said I wasn't going to, and I'm not.

though, I do peek at them at my LCS.

The only Marvel title I buy is Astonishing X-Men, but since Whedon's run is over, I'm happy to not buy their comics anymore :)

Like you, I refuse to buy anything Spidey except Ultimate. I won't even look through it at the store.

Except for Wells' and Bachalo's arc (excellent stuff), you aren't missing much.

Ok all you guys are heavily recommending Captain America so I guess I will start getting it again as well.

I stopped at issue #25, do I need to go back and start over with issues 26 or is there another good place to jump back on the book?

#26 would be best simply because it was very good.

As the Lord of the Monkeys, High Priest of Kong.... I can say that's not true.

Because the Lord of the Monkeys has not bought monthly comics in close to four years now. I've gone TPB only.

I'm actually a Marvel convert right now...I just feel what they are putting out is of such superior quality, with the exception of Green Lantern, which besides my name is the only DC thing I have going right now

also, the fallen son one-shots contribute nothing to the story so if you don't want to pick them up there's really no need to feel obliged to do so.

Houman, you should buy this though, it's for kids and is great for adults.
