It's only a limited series, but I highly recommend The Twelve by JMS and Chris Weston. It's one of Marvel's best books, along with Captain America, Thor, Thunderbolts, and Iron Man: Director of SHIELD.

It's published by Marvel, so no.

I'm not a big fan of Bachalo's art.

Mini-marvels transcends the boundaries of "publishers" it simply is.

I can relate to Houman

I've been boycotting Amazing Spider-Man

It sucks because Spidey's my favorite all-time superhero, but I'm sticking to my guns.

Amazing Spider-Man
Hulk
Incredible Hercules
Secret Invasion
Thor
Fantastic Four
1985
Wolverine
Guardians of the Galaxy
Astonishing X-Men

I was just reading them all the past few weeks at the shop and got hooked again, so I hope I am welcomed back with open arms

As long as you're enjoying them I don't see what's wrong.

I'm trade waiting on all those but Amazing.

See, here's the thing:

There are people high-up at Marvel who don't want the Mini-Marvels stuff published. Hence the limited print run.

You wouldn't just be buying a cool comic from a talented guy, you would be sticking it to the honchos at Marvel who don't approve of this sort of thing.

Seconded. More Mini Marvels is a good thing since Mini Marvels=awesome.

Wow, really? That's so stupid.

I ordered it instead of the third Punisher War Journal trade.

I also collect all these. I'm really looking forward to Ellis and Bianchi coming on board Astonish X-Men. Whedon and Cassiday's run was great but the shedule just killed it for me. By the time the last issue came out I'd forgotten a lot of what had come before so it probably didn't have the impact it should have.

I've been really enjoying Spider-Man's new direction, but I'm not sure if enough to keep picking it up. I'm getting a little sick of the front page blurb about the Spider-Tracer killings that seems to have been going on for months.

Thor is also great, but I'm probably going to switch to trades. The pacing doesn't really work for me as a monthly (although last week's issue worked great as a stand-alone).

Hm, I wonder if I could have contradicted myself more.

SO yeah I got caught up on a bunch of comics today at my shop. I picked up Captain America 26-38, Cable 1-4, Fantastic Four 554-556, in addition to this weeks Amazing Spider-Man, Nightwing, Supergirl, JSA, Secret Invasion and Trinity.

So yeah I have a WHOLE lot of reading ahead of mez!~!!!

I've dropped New Avengers until after SI (I'll probably grab the trades) but I'm still getting:
Thor
Cap
Runaways
Punisher
Amazing Spidey

There's not much else I enjoy apart from Omega the Unknown but it's a mini.

Really.

Giarusso said as much in an interview. I'll try and grab a link if people need one.

I also got the impression the MiniMarvels digest will have to sell out the run or that'll be it.
