So that Chinese thing was never really explained in a compelling way. This two-parter is the weakest story so far. Saving the Simonson issues. They look amazing. Especially the Thor panels!

Nope, just poorly written characters who rarely contribute anything interesting to the universe they exist in. Maria Hill is simply a terrible character.
