I really enjoyed this story overall. It should be interesting to see what happens with Thane and the Ebony Maw.

That was the worst part for me. I was like "ugh!"

It wasn't my most favourite part of Infinity, but I think this pairing has a lot of potential for some interesting stories.

I wish I could share your enthusiasm. It felt forced, as though Hickman was just creating a villain for Inhumanity or something. Thane felt forced through and through.

I think Black Dwarf and Supergiant are the only lieutenants of Thanos that are dead. Proxima Midnight is frozen in amber with Thanos and she also has Corvus Glaive's blade, which she alludes also possesses a piece of Corvus somehow.

I don't know that Supergiant is definitively dead either. Explosions have never been an absolute, no questions asked killer of comic book villains.

True. Hickman went straight for the Greek mythology template with Thane and Thanos a la Kronos defeating Ouranos, then Zeus defeating Kronos.

You're definitely not alone. This whole thing was Hickman's last chance to not bore me and put me to sleep.

I can't really complain about decompression in an event comic that was only sixteen issues including tie-ins. It seems to have pared down the fluff we've seen in recent event comics dramatically.
