But honestly when was the last time you read a comic book not knowing what is going to happen? That's what is pissing so many people off, they're scared that they haven't got the comfort of nothing ever changing.
It's true. If someone important and huge like METTLE can die... Hoo boy, game over man. Game over. Nobody's safe.
Except for everybody. Everybody is safe. Nothing in this book will effect lasting change. In fact, no one will even die; it'll all be revealed to be an elaborate simulation. Once again, Gail-Dennis-Simone-Hopeless is trolling the tumblrsphere (and I hate that that's a real word!).
Making all those poor stupid kids get upset, then show them their beloved morts like Mettle, Gravity, etc... All just fine. They'll survive this book and then return to the dustbin of oblivion they were always going to relegated to anyways.
