and my favorite remains the classic red-and-gold...yes, rocket-roller skates and all. it's cool and classic without looking too busy. after that would probably be the original all-black stealth armor, then the Chen Heroes Return armor, then the Silver Centurion, then the Guice post-Armor Wars suit.

Nope he's right Mark Bright drew it first. I have the old Armor Wars trade and he's definitely the artist.

I like some of the later armors but I'm not into the extremis, healing factor, hides in his bones bullshit.

I'm not too thrilled with that aspect of that armor either, but I do like it's looks.

I've got to admit, I miss the SKIN armor to a degree. I liked the way the fellow who designed it, drew it as well as the drawing here of it.
Image
I liked that it had Adamantium in it.

Also, I just noticed, maybe this is going to be his new armor?

Mine too. I think it's way to bulky. The only time bulky armor is ok is when it's the Hulkbuster armor.

Yup, that's the name I forgot!

Like I said, I liked that it had Adamantium in it as well as a few of the cosmetics of it. I think it had to have had the shortest life of them all for use, less then a years and poof, it got dumped by Stark for a newer model.
Mind you, having that Ultron had ways of seizing control of it via the SKIN tech, would make me dump it too.

Except for mabye the Ross/Chen armor, I just haven't been too crazy for IM's armors since the classic model. It seems they all look too manga robotish. IM's armor should look a little more sleeker and less busy.

I've always loved the classic red & gold from Michelinie & Layton's first run. That and the black Stealth Armor from Iron Man #152.
