One of the things I really like about it is the narration. It's a very old school approach to narrate the story in caption boxes, but at the same time it's a modern twist. The captions compliment the art and pack more story into the book, making each issue fulfilling, while captions in older comics had a tendency to slow the story down as they simply stated what was already clearly visible on the page.

Agreed. It kind of reminds me of the old Prince Valiant strips I'd read in the Sunday morning funnies.

I like both, but prefer Fraction.

It's very good, though.

1. Uncanny X-Force
2. The Unwritten
3. Swamp Thing
4. American Vampire
5. Locke & Key
6. Scalped
7. Wolverine & The X-Men
8. Batman
9. The Ultimates
10. Daredevil

I would put Journey somewhere in the next 10, though.

why do i keep having to remind you about Sixth Gun? :smt011 :smt011

It's so good it barely sells 8K books a month.

And since there's 2 covers and an incentive that's artificially inflated.

But I still pick it up out of habit.

Just read the latest issue, and this continues to be the best book currently being published.
