didn't 100 Bullets go on a break when Brian A was on Superman?
Saga was gone for a bit there recently, right?

That's not it at all. We don't like you because you repeat the same thing over and over even if it doesn't have anything to do with the matter at hand.

Superman fired Azz? It was because Geoff Johns hates Vertigo! And bullets! And the number 100!

Krikman's been doing a fine job over there

I've never seen him engage in personal attacks against other posters, people just get upset because they have some strange attachments to writers they've never met or known on a personal level.

you know darn well thats not it
rarely has he ever had a negative reaction to his opinions
its the unfounded truth (I'm not allowed to call him a liar anymore) that gets people
and his inability to comprehend what he reads

Kirkman went to Marvel, failed marvelously, then ran away with his tail between his legs and a chip on his shoulder.

is it all over Image that he is promising creators will become millionaires if they join him?
if so, please, for the love of all that is holy, someone link to it!

Except there's no money at Image, you;re not guaranteed a profit short term, and there's the whole...working for Rob Kirkman aspect.

Even without the guarantee of money, aren't the terms at Image more attractive than what Vertigo currently offers?

Depends what you want. To join Kirkman's Skybound imprint, you have to hand over a percentage of the rights to the property, YOUR OWN WORK. To Kirkman.

Plus, have you seen Image? They launch like....ten series a month. You're telling me all of those are going to make money? PLUS, the fact that Larsen and Kirkman only advertise if you;re one of their buddies. I've seen Image books sink without trace because there was no ads for it anywhere else.

Want to know something REALLY sick? If you want to work for Marvel, you have to hand over 100% of the rights to what you create. YOUR OWN WORK.

You do realize that people working with Skybound know the terms upfront and are obviously comfortable with them? Kirkman is not forcing anyone to do anything?

And here is the difference, between me, and say....Bob Kirkman. I cannot fathom, anyone in comics, not wanting to write Spider-Man. No one, and I mean NO ONE, is interested in characters I've come up with. Not even me. If I was working in comics, why the hell wouldn't I want to work in the major leagues? To me (and here's another of my pesky opinions), if you're not pitching to work for Marvel, or DC, why bother.

Spider-Man's been around for fifty years. Kirkman will be lucky if people give a shit about Invincible in five.
