And yeah, I'm a fan of the Hulk book (not the Incredible Hulk book, though), so what. Not every comic has to be Shakespeare, you know.

I've heard good things about (Red) Hulk. I don't read it, but I know people who do and they love it.

Too comfortable on that corporate teat? Sounds a lot like Ultimates 3 to me. Working ONLY with well-established "hot" artists who could sell anything (i.e. Ed McGuinness, Ian Churchill, Art Adams, Joe Mad)? The man DOES have a point.

I think Loeb has earned the position where he can pick and choose the artists he works with. No one gives Kirkman shit for working with the same people again and again. (didn't the artist on Haunt abandon ship recently, and it wasn't the first time?)

Creator-owned books can be REALLY good. I.e. Powers by Bendis. What if Loeb has a Powers inside, just waiting to be written?]

I don't think Image would promote it, to be honest. Unless you're a friend of Bob, or Erik larsen, Image books get promoted like shit.

A similar "challenge" got McFarlane to draw again, even for a little while.

Wow, we should all be grateful that Fat Bob cajoling Todd McF into drawing again for a while, truly Haunt and Image United have saved the print comics industry,

A Loeb creator-owned book would be interesting, especially with someone like McGuinness, Art Adams or Frank Cho.

But I'm actually pretty happy with his Marvel work at the moment, it's not half-bad, Ultimate X is particularly strong.

A long time ago, ironically it was the Image Boys, that I stopped listening the rhetoric they spouted and judge them solely on their output. (hence the reason I really do not like Todd.)

Robert definitely falls into this. I really do enjoy Walking Dead and Invincible, but Image United and Astounding Wolf-Man has been very poor. In comparison to Loeb whom his output has been lacking for quite some time I still feel he is a good writer but just coasting right now.

You realize putting a gun to someones head is putting them "at gunpoint?" Why do people respond to trolls seriously?

I think his two Ultimates books have been pretty strong, definitely better than Millar, who's heart isnt in it anymore. Ultimate X has been a surprise, I didnt think I'd care about the characters again (ironically, after Kirkman drove the book into the ground)

Loeb may not be to everyone's taste, but he loves these characters, loves the industry, and loves the artists he works with. I can't say the same about Kirkman.

I don't know whether to applaud the Bass' ability to manipulate people on this board, or weep at the fact that there is someone so dense as to say the things he has.

Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.
