There are discussions to bring back Jean Grey, but it's a story Marvel does not want to rush.

If you're gonna follow up to her last appearance(Planet X), you need a hella good team. I suggest Matt Fraction and Joe Casey as the writing team, with Art Adams drawing it.

Or maybe that's all a lie and she's coming back next year.

It doesn't say anything about it being a while. It just says it's not something they want to rush. All that tells me is they want it to be a good story. Could still be next year though.

Seriously, she just needs to stay dead. She's more interesting as a martyr than an actual character. Always has been, and always will be.

Maybe they should ask Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver?

I know alot of people especially Champy love her but there is really no reason storyline wise for her to comeback at this point in the X-Verse. If she ever does come back I don't see how she could just go back to being one of the X-Men. Besides I like the relationship between Emma and Scott much more, it is so more interesting.

there is one great storyline that they should bring Jean back for. She rises from the ashes and turns Emma's brains into mush. Causing her to walk out in front of a garbage truck where she is splattered across the windshield like the bug she is!

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Oh I'd pay double to see that!

I absolutely agree.

Although Morrison put the possibility of "the phoenix egg" out there so she'll be back at some point in time.

Emma Frost kicks so much ass anyway.

I love Jean! Emma is a tramp and a whore. :P

In all seriousness though, I still think the baby Cable is saving is Jean Grey.
