That would have required someone at DC to actually know who the f**k I was.

You act like all I do around here is back Legion. You obviously didn't notice the "Pompeii" article I posted earlier today.

Nah, I don't think that, but when I think of Legion or hear any news about the franchise, I invariably think of your reaction.

Why is it the Legion threads get to be so controversial?

I know, right? You would think all opinions are exhausted after the first person says, "No one gives a shit about Legion."

Because other posters would rather bash me than make cases that the current series hasn't been a flop. Though with the series canceled, they couldn't.

Luckily for you, your Teflon/Vibranium/Adamantium/Promethium skin is impenetrable, so you don't really notice when you are getting bashed.

Or something like that.

The most ironic part of the whole thread is that it's ESF who derailed it. :groucho:

It really isn't; threads derail all the time, for any number of reasons. I certainly posted numerous thoughts about the final issue and the Legion franchise in this thread, as well.

I mentioned what various visitors here already know, and what Nacireman just said: People get bashed here for talking about comic books, for God's sake. For a diversionary hobby where people literally discuss whether Rob Liefeld can draw cartoon feet, some people think their Internet Credibility is such that it's OK to bash a poster here or a poster there -- especially if they actually care about some aspect of it -- but as soon as somebody says something about it, the finger goes right back to the person who says anything about it.
