It's all the classic stuff everyone knows if they've seen "Excalibur" or read La Morte d"Arthur.

Again, dunno exactly where it's going but ... I'll at least give it another issue. And like I said, the art is really good and interesting.

She was actually having sex with the Spectre.

As I recall, they neglected to label those issues as "Mature Readers" and had to accept any returned copies as a result.

I finally received and read issues #1 & #2 of this, and I have to say that I'd highly recommend it. Great writing, beautiful art and evidence that Wagner has a big story to tell. Plus, it's nice to see a Vertigo book set in the DCU again, plus this ties right in with Wagner's brilliant Demon miniseries from about 20 years ago.

Great book!

Is it set in the DCU? What happens to her horns and hooved feet?

I liked the first issue, the art was sooooo good. The only thing I didn't like was her hooved feet. I think they don't look good.

They're not hooved - those are shoes! And the horns are a head-dress.

Besides, the end of issue two may cover certain magical aspects of her changing.

No - I have the books in front of me: she has normal feet, but wears stones on the balls of them that make them look almost hooved. There is webbing up her legs that hold them on.
