The suck, of course, is Davis will be out after the first arc. That's not official, but as with Cassiday, I'm just gonna have to go out on that limb.

i hope you bitch as much about Batman at DC. Since right now (if this is actually a wolverine book), wolverine will be in as many main continuity books as Batman..

And what makes you think I don't already? They're both overrated and overexposed characters-and this is coming from someone who likes Batman myself.

I'd like to see Captain Wolverine, tales of his WWII days in Europe written by Garth Ennis.

I'm in. Davis is probably my favourite comic book artist and Cornell is a great writer.

Alan Davis is my absolute favourite artist so no hesitation buying this. I've wanted him to do a regular series for ages but he does have a bit of a track record for not sticking with anything for too long, unfortunately.

My ultimate comic would be Captain Britain with Davis back to drawing the character like nobody else can...

He does a good Wolverine though so I'm plenty happy with that.

I'd pick that up. Or something set between Origin and WWI.

But I don't know how you'd get around the same problems the prequels faced, where you go into it KNOWING how the protagonist ends up...
