Moon Knight #4 (Made of deliciousness Spoilers)

Postby Punchy » Mon Aug 08, 2011 10:08 am

The usual Bendis/Maleev excellence. The conversation between Echo and Ms. Marvel over the phone was funny, and had some great little asides from the other New Avengers, and some fun meta-comments about how it kind of seemed like Bendis had forgotten about Echo even existing. The fight between Moon Knight and Echo and the Night Shift was very cool, and seemed to flow a lot better than most fights that Bendis and Maleev do. If that partnership can be said to have a weakness, it would be fight scenes, but this one was aces. I must also say that I continue to be surprised at how well Bendis is making the Cap/Spidey/Wolverine split personalities thing work, I thought it would be stupid, but it isn’t.

I'm enjoying the the Moon Knight/Echo relationship so far. It's written well and I want to see where things go. I'm also pleased with what Bendis is doing with Spectre's multiple personality syndrome. Both things have breathed a bit of fresh air into Moon Knight.

Thank you Troy for the sig
