A movie might have bad spfx too. I was thinking a tv series might help it be more accessible to kids. Disney owns Marvel now so a show on one of the Disney channel makes sense to me.

Live action Disney Channel fare like Wizards of Waverly Place have notoriously bad special effects. A cartoon could work.

As for movies I would love to see get made, how about The Stars My Destination or The Demolished Man?

I'd like to see a Captain Marvel movie (with the Rock as Black Adam), followed by a cartoon on NickToons or something, where they show baddies like Dr. Silvana and "Captain Nazi" (he'd probably get renamed, though).

I'd really love to see an animated New Mutants movie. The original group.

I should have added Astro City and Suicide Squad to my list now that I think about it. As for the New Mutants thing, that may work-hopefully it would be better than that much maligned Generation X movie that came out during the 90s.

I actually heard there were plans to make a Captain Marvel movie but it will most likely remain in development hell. I don't know if Rock would work as Black Adam as he can't act to save his life. I would rather have someone like Clive Owen or Arnold Vosloo in the role.

I could TOTALLY see a He-Man movie (or trilogy) looking like LotR with laser weapons! Casting would be tough, though...

You know what would ROCK, though? Thundarr the Barbarian!

I saw it on DVD. It was pretty good. Better than the Dead or Alive movie.

Thanks, I forgot to put that on my list as well. The only problem I see is that people will just regard Thundarr as a Conan ripoff with Star Wars mixed in-kind of like why there will never be a Moon Knight movie due to people regarding the character as a Batman wannabe.

In regards to He-Man, here's my ideal casting:

He-Man/ Prince Adam-Alex Pettyfier
Skeletor-Hugo Weaving or Christopher Waltz
Man-At-Arms-Liam Neeson
Teela-Rachel Nichols
Orko-Peter Dinklage
Evil Lyn-Megan Fox
Beast Man-Ron Pearlman
Sorceress-Tilda Swanton

Yeah, I heard how badly DOA sucked. The sad thing is that it had Ryu Hyabusa from the Ninja Gaiden series who was one of my favorite characters growing up-too bad even he couldn't save the movie from being crap.

That does sound cool, but why not have 2 folks playing He-Man and Prince Adam, just so it's less obvious? Unless you have something else in mind...

With the He-Man/ Prince Adam thing all one would have to do is use CGI effects like they did in the 2 Hulk movies, so hence no need for 2 actors.

The animated Gen13 movie? That's not really in development hell, since it was finished: I've had a copy on VHS for a decade. I don't think it was ever released, but you can get bootlegs pretty easily at conventions....

It sucks that it never got released as I would have loved to have seen that. I am all for them making a movie of Gen 13. In my opinion, most of Wildstorm's titles are more interesting than the DC ones.
