New Deadwardians May Be the Best Vertigo Series Right Now

Postby Stephen Day » Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:23 pm

With issue three this week I realized that I'm enjoying this series more than any of the other Vertigo series that I'm currently getting. I will say that iZombie would be a very close second.

Stephen Day reading Vertigo comics does not bode well for Vertigo.

I would give the edge to American Vampire, but Deadwardians is still getting its feet wet, so I'll reserve judgement for another couple of months.

I've always purchased at least one or two things from Vertigo every month. :smt102

I read the first issue and couldn't stand it, but at least someone's reading it. Vertigo needs everything it can get. I'm just surprised your LCS had it!

It's definitely up there, but Unwritten and American Vampire both trump it IMO.

I put it on my pull list when I saw it in Previews. I think my copy is the only copy they order in.

I'll be diplomatic. New Deadwardians is the best new series from Vertigo. I've bought the first issues of the four new series so I know what I'm saying.
